What is Knowledge Review?
- This is an opportunity for LGO students to present their thesis results to the LGO community (classmates, LGO partners reps and supervisors, faculty advisors, LGO staff).
- This is essentially a thesis defense, that enriches the program overall each year by demonstrating to company supervisors and first-year students how an internship experience is transformed into thesis research results.
- The event will be virtual. Students will present from their laptops, using Zoom.

Event Day

- You can move between presentation rooms by clicking on Breakout Rooms, hovering over the number of people in the room, then clicking on Join. Repeat any time you want to move to a different section/breakout room.

Helping Students to Prepare
- Faculty Advisors– Students might come to you for input in advance of submitting their Use Case documents and slides for company review in mid-March. They will need a quick turnaround for that. Please reach out to Scott Kennedy (sknndy@mit.edu) or Darby Hering (darby@mit.edu) if you have questions.
- Company Supervisors– Students will be submitting slides and written Project Brief documents to LGO staff before May 2. These will be shared during Knowledge Review with classmates, staff, faculty, and LGO partners, and will need company review to determine if the materials are within the project scope and to ensure there is no inadvertent disclosure of confidential information. Please contact lgo-knowledge-review@mit.edu if you have any questions.
