The LGO Program provides a number of opportunities to engage with students throughout the 24-month program. Using structured activities and high-touch staff support, we enable partner recruiting teams to develop connections with each class, providing a strong foundation for internship project development, interviews, and matching, and successful full-time hire recruiting.
Our timelines and processes are different from other MBA programs. For example, LGO internships are an assigned 6-month project-based experience that not only provide the basis for a thesis, but also allow students to solve real challenges within your organization and develop skills essential to their career goals. Additionally, your teams will enjoy private access to students through on-campus and virtual coffee chats, internship-focused networking events, and designated full-time hire recruiting interview weeks.
Our personalized onboarding process, partner guide, and ongoing availability to partners allow your team to create relationships with LGO students that will continue long past graduation.
Onboarding & Ongoing Support
Throughout the year, LGO staff will strategically support engagement by meeting with your teams at key points in time. We are additionally available to meet any time you need guidance.
- New partner/partner rep onboarding (general overview of timelines and activities, student-partner engagement opportunities, the LGO internship, LGO full-time hire recruiting)
- Spring & Fall (after internships are matched)- Internship orientation for supervisors and recruiting/HR teams
- Summer- Recruiting season preparation for recruiting and HR teams
- Fall- Offer-making strategies for recruiting and HR teams
The LGO Virtual Community Portal (“The VC”)
The VC is a portal where companies can view student profiles, upload internship proposals and job descriptions, and where full-time hire recruiting interview schedules will be posted. This is also where program-specific resources like student picture and resume books, past accepted offer data and recruiting best practices and offer strategy recommendations can be accessed.
- Recruiting resources (where you will post jobs and interview schedules for fall, and where you can view program resources related to full-time recruiting)
- Internship resources (where internship project proposals will be submitted, and where you can view program resources related to internships)
Sometimes initial login information goes to spam/junk folders, so please check there if you haven’t seen this come into your inbox.
Tailored student interest data
Each summer, we send partner teams company-specific student interest data from each class related to internships and recruiting. This can inform the development of high value internship project proposals and also allows partners to initiate contact with interested students early on to develop relationships that result in successful full-time recruiting.
